Founder and CEO

Debbie’s passion for senior care and elder care started at a young age. At 15, she volunteered at a hospital in Rochester, NY. The experience confirmed her calling to help others and work in the medical field. Debbie holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, advanced education in geriatric care management, legal nurse consulting and life care planning.

Debbie has extensive experience in the establishment and growth of business. Her awards and certifications include 2013 Up and Coming Businesswoman of the Year, Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare by International Association of Nurses, Simon Graduate School of Business Simulation Scholarship Award, Certification in Case Management, and Healthcare Business Acumen Certification. Debbie serves as the Senior Care Expert for Fox Rochester, providing weekly appearances with important information affecting seniors, the disabled, and those that care for them.

Ryan Lindner

Franchise Business Coach & Training Coordinator

Ryan Lindner brings vast experience and a rare skill set to his role as Happier At Home Franchise Business Coach & Training Coordinator. By fostering a sense of belonging among team members and the utilization of a wide-range of analytic tools such as patient-focused technologies, net promoter scores (NPS), and customer experience metrics to measure both employee and patient satisfaction, Ryan assists all Happier At Home franchises to be successful enterprises for all stakeholders.

Ryan’s firmly held belief is that healthcare organizations thrive when they have created a patient-centric culture and when they demonstrate that they value staff members who take initiative to make positive impacts. He combines extraordinary communication ability with the power of analytics to enact strategies that increase revenues and decrease expenses by aligning business objectives.

In addition to having completed over 6,000 coaching sessions, Ryan’s accomplishments span 18 years delivering customer experience & customer success, including work with four healthcare organizations. He is an award-winning author, project manager, certified in PMP & Lean Six Sigma, and he has created training departments & coaching programs from the ground floor up.

David Marcello

VP of Franchise Development

David Marcello, VP of Franchise Development, has enjoyed an expansive and patient-centric career in healthcare that began upon his earning a degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen University. Since then, he has worked in a range of patient care settings, including hospital acute care, subacute rehabilitation, outpatient and homecare.

These varied experiences have provided David a valuable perspective on the many impacts of the healthcare system upon both individuals and families. Combining his knowledge of direct patient care and a background in program development, management, leadership and mentoring, David helps to optimize the success of every Happier At Home franchisee.

Marie Rodriguez

Franchise Support Consultant

Marie Rodriguez has been working in the health care field for many years. Owning a franchise of Happier At Home has given Marie the experience necessary to be an essential support to our franchisees. She has been through every step that new franchisees are brought through in training and knows the motivating factors that you need to drive your Happier At Home business to top revenues. An educator and expert in the development of training programs, Marie has created boot camps that will address every aspect of the growth and development of your business.

Donna DeRycke

Franchise Support Consultant

Donna DeRycke, Business Support Manager, has been in the field of human services for over 23 years. Donna is experienced in program management, employee engagement, training, counseling, and advocacy. Donna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and double Minors in Gerontology and Art Therapy from Nazareth College. She also attained a certificate in business management through St. John Fisher College.
